 I was able to find an airbag here in Ensenada that with a small modification worked. The owner of the RV park was a great help with finding the part. The old airbag. What a mess! The new airbag. The half inch bolt is supposed to go all the way through and have a nut. But it wasn't long enough. I had to drill a hole and tapped it then put a bolt in.  I had a stubborn bolt that I wasn't strong enough to get off. So I had to make a contraption to bolt my breaker bar onto my crescent wrench to have the leverage I needed.

 We broke down about 70 kilometers from Ensenada.  The right side airbag started to leak. We had to turn the air compressor off and drive about 2 hours with the hazard lights on going slow.  Now finding a mechanic and getting parts. We might be here awhile. At least it's good weather. 77 in the day 65 at night. Hopefully I'll know more tomorrow.

 San Quentin Mexico, not San Quentin prison. We are back on the west coast of Baja and the weather is perfect. 78 for a high 65 for a low. The drive here was really nice. Desert wood art from Catavina Mexico.

 We drove up to the old mission lookout. It was a incredible view. We are in an oasis. On one side of the street is desert the other side is tropical oasis. Crazy the contrast between oasis and desert! Hey the solar panels are still there!!

 Tony the owner of the RV park we are staying at showed us around town today. We went to an old prison that was converted into a museum. 

I went fishing in Ejido San Lucas and caught my first keeper.  I have caught two large ballyhoo but I threw them back. Then I caught a medium sized Dorado. I did the math on the fish and he only cost me 14,500$$ 4500 for the boat 8000 for the engine 2000 for new radio, seats, electronics I hope he's good eating!!

 After some more dental work we left the cool weather of Guerrero Negro and went back to the East side of the Baja.  We will only be here about a week or so. I have to go back and have some more dental work done.  The drive. The moon to one side. Sunset on the other side. Our campsite. You can't get much closer to the water than that!

 With these 100+ temperatures we are having the ambulance gets hot during the day, especially since the inverter makes heat and the fridge/freezer makes heat that gets trapped inside when the truck is locked. So I bought a 12 volt radiator fan and I'm installing it on the small door where the O2 bottle used to go. It's going to be on a reverse polarity switch so it can suck air out or blow air in. The door is so small there is no way to rob anything from the truck. So while we are parked the door can be open with the fan running. It can suck hot air out or blow cool air in.  The O2 door closed. The O2 door opened with the new fan. When I get back to Oklahoma I'll build a proper shroud for it. It works for now.

 Today we went out to the lighthouse Los Gaviones. They think it was built in the 60's and retired in the 70's. There is a large wharf there that used to load salt onto the ships. It is no longer active now they truck the salt out. The drive out. We passed the salt farms. The large wharf. The old lighthouse. The dirt boat ramp. I don't think I'll take the ambulance down there. The Pacific is too cold for me anyways.

 On my way to Alaska last year I got a chip in my windshield in the Northern Rockies from a semi truck. So once in Juneau I bought a repair kit and have been hauling it around ever since. (Why do today what you can put off for tomorrow!) Anyway I decided to repair it today.  Here is the chip. First you put the adhesive down Then the tool. Next suck the air out for 10 minutes then force air in for 20 minutes. It turned out really well. If I didn't show you where it was you wouldn't know.  It was a 10$ kit from the parts store really easy, just follow the directions.

 We took the boat out on Saturday July 22nd 2023. We went snorkeling, fishing. No wakeboarding today. We didn't catch any fish.  It's hard to see but there are two coyotes on the beach. This is where we anchored and went snorkeling. 

 We have been in Bahia de Los Angeles for the last couple of days. We are parking right on the beach on the outside of town in an Airbnb type place that allows tent camping, and they let us park on the beach.  This was our campground on the way to Bahia de Los Angeles. We had a lightning/windstorm that night.  We passed by some giant cardon cactus trees on our drive.

 There are only three boat ramps in San Felipe that I can find and two of them are on the beach and high and dry at low tide. The locals just drive down the beach and load their boats anyways.  I'm not going to be driving the ambulance on the beach in the saltwater anytime soon. There is the boat ramp.  We are enjoying San Felipe. We have parked the ambulance and are riding the bikes around. We probably won't launch the boat here, but we are hanging out on the beach and swimming. Downtown San Felipe.
