Helping Hand

I decided on this trip everytime I see someone broke down on the side of the road I'm going to pull over and help.

1. West of Waxahachie on day one before Hubbard lake. A guy had overheated. We gave him 4 gallons of water from our sink. The truck took two gallons  and he had two spare gallons in case it happened again.

2. East of San Antonio NM a truck towing a car on a trailer broke down. He had the necessary parts but no tools. So with the loan of my tool bag he was underway in no time.

3. East of Yuma on I-8 a lady with a small child blew out a tire and tore her rear fender up. She had a spare so I jacked up the car and put her spare on while Noora got the roll of flex seal tape from the ambulance and repaired her fender. She is going to have fun getting that tape off!

4. Between Mexicali and San Felipe (in the middle of nowhere) a pickup truck was broke down. After a language barrier struggle we learned that their transmission leaked all the fluid out. We didn't have any to offer, but they had someone coming already. At least we tried.

5. I picked up a bicycler who had about 30 kilometers left to his camp ground and gave him a ride. He was an architect from Mexico City and was riding his bicycle all over Mexico.
